Prague handle (obstetrics)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Prague Handle is an obstetric technique used in the case of an inverted head in breech position . The child's shoulders are gripped with one hand, while the child's feet are gripped with three fingers of the other hand, allowing them to swing around the symphysis .

The name is probably derived from the Prague building where this handle was developed.
