Prapatna

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Prapatna is a small town and fishing village on the north coast of the Croatian island of Hvar . It is now part of Jelsa and is located in a small bay on the Croatian Adriatic coast in the Mediterranean . The steep and inaccessible rocky coast of the island has made it the ideal hideaway for pirates and smugglers since ancient times. In the present, the inhabitants live from tourism and fishing.
