Pratuang Pattabongse

Pratuang Pattabongse ( Thai : ประเทือง ปั ต ต พงศ์ , [ praʡ.tʰɯaŋ.pat.ta.pʰɔŋ ]; * 1935 ) is a former Thai badminton player . She was one of the most prominent players in this sport in Thailand in the late 1950s and 1960s.

In 1958 she won her first laurels in Europe. At the French Open of the aforementioned year, she was successful in both singles and doubles with Julie Charles from England. In 1959 she won the Swiss Open in women's singles. In the final of the Siam Open that year, she lost to Heather Ward in the final. A year later she won the Dutch Open in women's singles and doubles with Annette Schmidt from Denmark. In 1960 she was in the final of the Wimbledon Open, but lost there to Judy Hashman . At the New England Open in Birkenhead she lost again to Hashman in the final. In 1966 she won the bronze medal at the Asian Games in doubles with her sister Pachara Pattabongse .
