Premier Trophy 2014/15

The Premier Trophy 2014/15 was the 75th season of the national first-class cricket competition in Sri Lanka . The winner was the Sri Lanka Ports Authority Cricket Club , which won its first Premier Trophy.

The 14 teams were divided into two divisions, each with seven teams, each playing against each other once. For a win, a team received twelve points, should it be a win with an innings lead. 14. If no result is achieved and the game ends in a draw, the results after the first innings count. There are eight points for a win and six points for a draw and none in the event of a loss. There are also bonus points for batting and bowling. The first four in each division qualified for the Super Eight League, the last three for the Plate League. In both leagues, each team competes once against each other. The first place in the Super Eight League wins the Premier Trophy. In the Plate League, the last placed team has to play a relegation against a team from the second row in order to participate in the Premier Trophy in the next season.
