Premis Barcelona de Cinema

The Premis Barcelona de Cinema or Premis Barcelona for short (German: Film Awards from Barcelona or Barcelona Awards), marketed internationally as the “Barcelona Awards”, were a Spanish film award and were considered the most important film awards in Catalonia . They were awarded annually in Barcelona from 2002 to 2008 .

The awards were given by the “Col·legi de Directors de Cinema de Catalunya” and were intended to recognize the best Catalan film productions of the year.

Since 2009 the Premis Gaudí have taken on the role of the Premis Barcelona de Cinema.
