The SC Preußen-Wacker Magdeburg was a German football club from Magdeburg that existed briefly from 1918 to 1919. The war syndicate that emerged at the end of the First World War was the result of a merger between Magdeburg's SC Prussia in 1899 and FC Wacker Magdeburg . On a sporting level, Preußen-Wacker Magdeburg won the championship in the Middle Elbe district in its opening season. In the associated qualification for the Central German Championship, KSG initially beat Germania Halberstadt 1-0 in the quarter-finals , but failed in the semifinals against three-time German champions VfB Leipzig with a clear 1: 9.
