Pribic

Pribić is a small village in Croatia , three kilometers east of Krašić in the Žumberačka gora .
It is the birthplace of the Croatian cardinal Franjo Kuharić .
In the village there is the parish church of St. Sixtus , which is worth seeing , and its age is dated to more than a thousand years. Further sights can be seen in the immediate three kilometers northwest of Pribić, Pribićki Strmac . A baroque palace, also owned by the Greek Catholic bishops of the Križevci diocese , which served as the bishopric. In front of the baroque bishop's seat, a neo-Byzantine church dedicated to the Holy Mother of God was built on a small island . In addition, the lovely Greek Catholic Church of the Annunciation is located in the village .
