Primary copy

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The primary copy method ( English primary copy ) is a method for synchronizing replicated data . With this approach, the change is only made on the primary copy and only then synchronized with the replicas, with the primary copy taking precedence.

The advantage of this method is that if there are several changes, these can be bundled and synchronized with the other copies. The disadvantage is that this method does not ensure stable consistency of the distributed copies.
