Prime Seal Island is a narrow, elongated island in the Bass Strait between Australia and Tasmania . It is located in the west of the Furneaux Group about six kilometers off the west coast of Flinders Island .
Just under two kilometers from the southern tip of the island, separated by the Safe Passage , is the archipelago of the Low Islands .
