Prince Island is an uninhabited island in the Australian state of Western Australia . The island is located in the Pentecost River , in the Scambridge Gulf . It is 2.8 kilometers from mainland Australia.
The island is 1.2 kilometers long and 550 meters wide. Nearby are the islands of Barnes Island , Adolphus Island and Panton Island .
