School operation
primary school
In primary school (grades 1 to 6) there are mostly two-class students with class sizes between 16 and 25 students. In grades 5 and 6, English, German and mathematics are taught in one lesson per week.
Secondary level I.
Various qualifications are possible in Sek I: Vocational qualification after year 9, extended vocational training qualification (EBR), technical college qualification (FOR) as well as entitlement to attend the upper school level after class 10. There are various voluntary offers in all-day operations in grades 7 to 10 (e.g. B. Homework help, maths, creative writing, IT & Internet, school café).
Secondary level II
In Sek II, the general higher education entrance qualification as well as the technical college entrance qualification can be completed after grade 12 (school part).
Riding as a subject
The school offers the opportunity to take riding as a regularly graded subject. During a four-year support program (grades 7-10), students receive basic training in theory and practice. The project is carried out in cooperation with the Landesverband Equestrian Berlin-Brandenburg e. V. and the main and state stud Neustadt (Dosse). Up to the ninth grade it is possible to ride the stud's school horses, after which the students should own horses or participate in riding .
boarding schools
In Neustadt, students have the opportunity to live in two boarding schools. This is independent of attending the special class. Some students go to school without riding and still live in boarding school. Information events are held regularly in the "Mühle Spiegelberg" and "Schloss Spiegelberg".
