Principals

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Principals (Latin principalia ) are called the “first” or “noblest” parts of the furnishings for liturgical use in church construction .

The printout is fuzzy. It is used both for the functional locations in worship gatherings ( altar , ambo , baptismal font , pulpit and sedile ) as well as for important other items of equipment such as (altar) cross or candlesticks and in Catholic churches tabernacles , sideboards or confessional .

The official church documents usually only mention functional locations and equipment. Nevertheless, the term is a common term in the conception and design of churches in both the Protestant and Catholic areas.
