The private IHAG Zurich AG is a Swiss asset management bank . It is part of IHFS Holding AG, which is owned by the founding families Bührle and Anda.

The bank was founded in 1949 by Emil Georg Bührle as Industrie- und Handelsbank AG . The main aim was to support the company's own industrial activities in import and export, to finance new projects and to preserve educated assets.

Over the course of time, the industrial and commercial bank expanded its business activities to include asset management and customer lending. The bank thus changed from a purely industrial bank to an asset management and credit bank. This change was reflected in the name changes in 1994 and 2000 to Ihag Handelsbank Zürich and Privatbank IHAG Zürich AG .

The private bank IHAG Zurich today focuses on the three areas of private banking , lending and trading . It has 103.4 employees and client assets as of December 31, 2017 totaled 7.471 billion Swiss francs.
