Pro Seniore was founded by the entrepreneur and former politician Hartmut Ostermann and has been active in the German healthcare market since 1977. In nationwide over 120 facilities with more than 17,000 beds, the group of companies provides a wide range of senior services and offers 14,000 fully inpatient care places as well as more than 3,000 places in assisted living .
Pro Seniore AG is part of the Victor's group of companies (under the parent company Victor's Bau + Wert AG), which in addition to the nursing home sector with Pro Seniore (which account for over 90% of the group’s turnover) in the hotel sector (Victor’s Residenz-Hotels) and construction is working. The shares of Victor's AG are held by the registered association "Pro Seniore", of which Ostermann is chairman.
