Production coefficient

The production coefficient , input coefficient or factor coefficient is a term used in factor-oriented production management . He puts the quantity of a factor of production , which is required for the production of a quantity of a product, and the quantity of the produced product in relation. Examples are the employee hours per manufactured car or the steel requirement per manufactured car.

The production coefficient is defined as the quotient of the quantity of an input factor and the output volume of a production unit. The reciprocal of the production coefficient is productivity .
