Production mirror

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Production mirror is a technical term for a publicly recorded overview of films , series or other cinematic works that are being planned or being produced. In the production mirror, for example, the production status and ongoing planning processes for current shooting can be quickly viewed. For filmmakers, production mirrors offer the opportunity to find out more about film productions that are in the filming and planning stage, for example looking for personnel. Journalists who want to receive information on the closing date or the premiere date in advance can also use the production mirror to find out more.

Providers of production reviews for their respective areas of responsibility are, for example, production companies and film schools and, in Germany, the film funding agencies of the federal states, such as Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg or the film funding Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein. In addition, there are production levels of private service companies that go beyond the limits of responsibility.
