Project feature

In order to define projects in project management (what is a project, what is not a project), project features are used. The DIN 69901 specifies a definition, are described in the project characteristics.

A project is one that is essentially characterized by the uniqueness of its conditions , e.g. B.

• Target
• Time, financial, personal or other limitations
• Differentiation from other projects
• project-specific organization

In addition, the following additional project features are often defined:

• novelty
• complexity
• Cooperation in interdisciplinary teams
