The Prophet T8 is a synthesizer manufactured by Sequential Circuits .
The Prophet T8 was introduced in 1983 and cost around 14,000 DM at the time. It was an eight-part, touch-sensitive instrument with a 76-key wooden keyboard and polyphonic aftertouch . The Prophet T8 also has a polyphonic sequencer with a memory capacity of 670 steps. Tropical wood was used on the sides of the case .
