Bellview Airlines was a Nigerian airline based in Lagos . From 1995 to 2008 it also operated a subsidiary in Sierra Leone with Bellview Airlines-SL .
history
The airline was founded in 1992 as a charter airline for business flights and started operations with a Jakowlew Jak-40 . In 1993 the first national passenger flights were carried out; a rented Douglas DC-9-30 was used for this . In 2009 it ceased operations.

Incidents
A Boeing 737-200 of the airline crashed on October 22, 2005 on the way from Lagos to Abuja shortly after take-off, killing all 111 passengers and the six crew members.
