Star Air was one in West Africa Sierra Leone registered Jordanian charter - airline . It was founded in 2002 and existed until 2005 or 2006.
Star Air, like Air Leone , Air Universal and Heavy-Lift Cargo among others , is believed to have been involved in illegal business in the Middle East , particularly in Jordan and Lebanon , in 2004 . At the same time the company operated among other things with approval in the United Arab Emirates as Star Jet flights for Olympic Airlines .
