Kabo Air is a Nigerian airline based in Kano and based at Kano Airport .

history

Kabo Air was founded in February 1980 and is wholly owned by Kabo Holding . At times the fleet was 24 aircraft, due to financial problems Kabo Air had to sell some aircraft in recent years.

In early March 2017, tax investigators from the Nigerian domestic tax authority sealed the office and commercial premises of Kabo Air after tax debts of US $ 475,000 had accumulated between 2004 and 2013.

Destinations

Kabo Air flies domestically from Kano to Abuja as well as to Africa and the Middle East .

Incidents

Kabo Air recorded several incidents in its history:

  • On October 4, 2013, a Boeing 747-200 operated by Kabo Air brushed against the ILS antenna on its approach to Sokoto , while it was approaching against the approved landing direction. It destroyed the antenna and several tires.
