Max Air is a Nigerian charter airline based in Kano and based at Kano Airport .
History and destinations
The airline was founded as Mangal Airlines in 2006 and renamed MaxAir Ltd in 2008, and has been a provider of charter flights ever since . One focus is the transport of pilgrims to the Hajj in the Saudi Arabian Mecca . In 2011, more than 60,000 pilgrims were transported.
