Proposition (meeting of estates)

With the term proposition (lat. Conversation theme) were designated u from the High Middle Ages and the early modern period. a. a proposal or a series of demands and proposals (taxes, military campaigns, etc.) by a prince to the estates assembled in the state parliament (or Reichstag) of a territory, which should be discussed and decided upon.
