Prose
Prosafe is a provider of semi-submersible vessels, semi-submersible residential and service platforms, special types of tankers that buffer oil and gas production from a drilling platform until it is picked up by a tanker, drilling rigs and oil rigs from Norway with headquarters in Stavanger .
Prosafe emerged in 1997 from the merger between the two companies Safe Offshore ASA and Procon Offshore ASA , which were founded in the same year . The Safe Offshore ASA in turn went 1997 as a spin-off from the former Transocean ASA produces and mainly consists of 1972 started under the name Marcon AS offshore activities. In 1998 the company merged with Consafe and Discoverer ASA . In 2001 the company consisted of three divisions: Prosafe Production , Prosafe Offshore and Prosafe Drilling Services . The Prosafe Drilling Services division was sold to KCA DEUTAG Drilling in 2005 . In June 2006 Prosafe acquired Consafe AB .
