Prosecture

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A prosecure (from Latin pro "before" and secare "cut") is the part of a hospital or an anatomical, pathological or forensic institute in which dissections are carried out. The term is rarely used. Mostly today one speaks of the pathology or of the section room or section room . The sentence "Wilhelm Lubosch received the prosecution in Würzburg in 1912" means that L. became the first assistant to a professor and clinic or institute director at the Medical Faculty of the University of Würzburg in 1912.
