Prosphonesis

The Prosphonese is a form of intercession prayer , in which the liturgist a monologue the entire prayer in the form of the altar speaks now and it is so representative of the community before God brings.

Prosphonesis usually consists of a call to prayer (“Let us pray”), an address from God and subsequent requests, often structured according to requests for Christianity, the politically responsible and the community. The Prosphonese is followed by the Lord's Prayer as a jointly spoken prayer in divine services without the Lord's Supper .
