Protestant Solidarity Switzerland
The Protestant Solidarity Switzerland is the umbrella organization of the Protestant church aid associations in Switzerland . The latter had formed in the 1840s, such as the Protestant Church Aid Association of Wilhelm Legrand in 1844 .
The main purpose of the association is to provide financial and moral support of Evangelical - Reformed church communities in the Diaspora . In particular, the maintenance and construction of buildings - churches, rectories and parish houses - is promoted.
The main activity is the annual Reformation collection for the whole of Switzerland .
