Pseudoglioma

Pseudoglioma describes a group of phenomena that imitate a retinoblastoma due to the characteristic bright light reflex in the eye of premature babies or small children , but have nothing to do with it. These include, for example

• the Norrie syndrome ,
• the retinopathy of premature babies
• the familial exudative vitreoretinopathy
