Public Advertiser

The Public Advertiser was an 18th century London newspaper .

It originally appeared as the London Daily Post and General Advertiser then simply as a General Advertiser and consisted more or less of advertisements . After being taken over by its printer, Henry Woodfall, it was re-issued as a public advertiser and had much more news content at the same time. In 1758 it was taken over by the printer's 19-year-old son, Henry Sampson Woodfall.
