Publius Calpurnius Victor
Publius Calpurnius Victor was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd century AD .
An inscription found at the Coriosopitum fort shows that Victor was the commander of the Cohors I Vardullorum milliaria civium Romanorum equitata , which was stationed in the province of Britannia at the time. Another inscription was found at the Coriosopitum fort, which was erected by the Tribune Calpurnius.

- ↑ The date of the EDCS is 71/200. The RIB dates the inscription later than 161 and probably 2nd century. John Spaul dates the inscription later than 161.
- ↑ According to the RIB, the Calpurnius named in the inscription ( RIB 1121 ) and the Publius Calpurnius Victor named in the inscription ( RIB 1128 ) are possibly identical.
