The Pulheim Gophers , or Gophers for short , are a baseball club from Pulheim .

The first men's team of the Gophers played in 2001, 2002, 2004 and from 2009 to 2011 in the Bundesliga baseball . At the end of the 2011 season they were forced to relegate to the association league because many top performers changed clubs, including a. Pitcher Markus Solbach, who signed a contract with the Minnesota Twins. Since the 2012 season they have been competing in the association league. The greatest success in 2001 was reaching the playoffs for the German championship. With this achievement you were the most successful climber in the history of the 1st Bundesliga.

In addition to the first men's team, which played in the association league, the club also had a softball team, which was represented in the national league in 2014. In 2015, no more softball teams could be registered - but a youth team again from 2017. There is also a men's team in the regional league.
