Punta Ristola

The Punta Ristola is located in the Italian region of Apulia , in the province of Lecce and belongs to the village of Santa Maria di Leuca which is a fraction of the municipality of Castrignano del Capo . Punta Ristola forms the southernmost point of Salento , the "heel" of the Italian boot, and separates the Gulf of Taranto from the Strait of Otranto .
