Purple Day
The Purple Day (purple day, violet day) is an international day of remembrance. It should serve to educate people about epilepsy and to take away the fear of the sick.

Remembrance Day takes place on March 26th each year. It was launched in 2008 by the then nine-year-old Cassidy Megan , who is affected by it, to break down myths and prejudices . On Purple Day, people are encouraged to wear purple and educate people about epilepsy in events . On February 17, 2012, Purple Day was officially recognized in Canada by the Purple Day Act .
