Q-Boot - The Quiz was a quiz show for children moderated by David Wilms , which was always broadcast on Sundays on Super RTL . The first broadcast took place on September 2, 2001. The show was produced by Grundy Light Entertainment . The studio represented a submarine .

Game flow

Three children participated as candidates in each program. Captain Commander David (played by David Wilms ) asked them ten questions, each with three possible answers. Since it was a quiz show for minors, there was no money to be won but books, toys and digital devices. For every question that was answered correctly, the submarine dove 1,000 meters deeper. The aim of the broadcast was to reach a depth of 10,000 meters. If all questions were answered correctly, the children received the super treasure as the main prize . This super treasure was a three day trip to Disneyland Paris for 4 people. The candidates had two different jokers to help. If you didn't know the answer, you could use the "crew joker", for example. The audience, which consisted exclusively of children, was asked for their opinion for the correct answer. The second joker is the lucky joker. In this case, the candidates were asked to press a button and one (red light) or two (green light) wrong answers were removed according to the color. In addition, the candidates were able to secure their previously achieved prizes twice after each question.

Prices

For each correctly answered question, there were the following prices at the respective depths:

1000m - books

2000m - CD voucher

3000m - game collection

4000m - tent equipment

5000m - kickboard

6000m - TV

7000m - mobile phone

8000m - game console

9000m - computer

10,000m - trip to Disneyland Paris

If the participants answered a question incorrectly, they received the prizes up to the last secured depth.
