David Wilms (born October 10, 1963 in Fröndenberg / Ruhr , Westphalia ) is a German television presenter . He moderated programs on Super RTL until 2009 , including the Super Toy Club and the quiz program Q-Boot - Das Quiz, which has since been discontinued . David Wilms was one of the regular presenters of Super RTL and also moderated the show Deutschland sucht den Superstar - Das Magazin .

From 1991 to 1993 he presented the gay magazine "Andersrum" in the former Berlin local broadcaster FAB .

1997–1999 he portrayed Theo Klages in the TV series Lindenstrasse , who celebrates a homosexual wedding with Carsten Flöter before homosexual marriage becomes law in Germany.

Professionally, he is a trained educator , but has also worked in various other professions. He is both a staunch vegetarian and an animal rights activist. Today he lives in Cologne , where he was managing director of the entertainment company "bigSmile" until January 2013. With his business partner Martin Reinl , he mainly developed muppet-style puppet formats and entertainment formats for children and adults.

Today he works as an entertainment manager for Hapag-Lloyd-Kreuzfahrten and coordinates the shows and appearances of the artists traveling on the respective cruise ship.
