QSSPC

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The abbreviation QSSPC means quasi-steady-state photo conductance (German about »quasi-stationary photo conductivity «). It is a method for characterizing silicon wafers with regard to their application for solar cells .

The method is used to determine the minority charge carrier life in the wafer or in the uncut silicon block, which enables a statement to be made about the efficiency of the solar cells made from them later.
