Qingxu Guan

Qingxu Guan or Qingxu Temple or Qingxu Monastery ( Chinese  清虚 観  /  清虚 观 , Pinyin Qīngxū Guān , English Monastery of Clarity and Emptiness  - "Monastery of Clarity and Emptiness") is a Daoist temple in the Pingyao district of the Chinese province Shanxi .

It was originally built in the Tang Dynasty (657), reconstructions took place in the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Its main buildings include the Dragon and Tiger Hall ( Longhu Dian ), the Three Reins Hall ( Sanqing Dian ), the Jade Emperor Pavilion ( Yuhuang Ge ) and the like. a.

The temple, which now houses the Pingyao City Museum , has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-407) since 2006 .
