Qingyilu

The two-book ( juan ) work called Qingyilu ( Chinese清 异 录) is a collection of brush notes compiled by Tao Gu (陶 谷) (died 970) of the Song Dynasty , mainly from works from the Tang Dynasty and of the Five Dynasties .

In particular in its section Zhuanxiumen (馔羞门) it contains valuable sources for the history of Chinese food and drink culture of the time of the Sui Dynasty , Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties .

It contains a lot of information and anecdotes from several older works on Chinese cuisine, including the book of dishes ( Chinese食 经Shijing ) by Xie Feng (谢 讽) from the Sui dynasty or the Shaowei shidan (烧 尾 食 单menu of Shaowei Banquets ) by Wei Juyuan (韦巨源) from the time of the Tang Dynasty , also known as Shaowei yan shidan (烧 尾 宴 食 单menu of the Shaowei banquet ), Wei Juyuan shipu (韦巨源 食谱; menu of Wei Juyuan ) or simply Shipu (食谱; menu ) is known.

An early print of the Qingyilu is contained in the ancient book series called Baoyantang miji (宝 颜 堂 秘笈) from the Wanli era of the Ming period.
