Quacky Duck and His Barnyard Friends were a short-lived American country rock band that was active in the 1970s.

Band history

The band was founded by D'Andrea "Danny" Bennett and Daegal "Dae" Bennett , sons of Tony Bennett , as well as Curtis Fried , Gordon Javna and David Mansfield . In 1974 the band received a recording contract from Warner Records and released their album Quacky Duck and His Barnyard Friends in the same year . Despite a small single success with "The Barnyard Song", Warner Records canceled the contract after only one album.

David Mansfield began a career as a musician and composer; Danny Bennett became his father's manager in the 1980s and 1990s. Dae Bennett worked as a recording technician, Gordon Javna became a writer and editor.
