Quadriga (EU policy)

Quadriga is an informal body made up of representatives from the European Central Bank (ECB), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the European Commission (EU) and the European Stability Mechanism (ESM).

From July 2015, the Quadriga will replace the former troika made up of the IMF, ECB and EU Commission with the addition of the ESM. It negotiates with states that are in financial difficulties like Greece about loan programs and related conditions.
