Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2017/18

The Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2017/18 was the 60th season of the national first-class cricket competition in Pakistan . The winner was Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited , which won their fourth Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

format

16 teams take part in the competition, divided into two groups, where everyone plays against each other. A team initially received nine points for a win, but only if it also won the first innings . If this is not the case, there are six points. If no result is achieved and the game ends in a draw, the results after the first innings count. There are three points for a win, two points for a tie and none in the event of a loss. There is a bonus point for wins with one innings and if a draw is reached after a follow-on. The first four of each group qualified for the Super 8 round, which was also held in two groups. The first two of the group then carried out the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in the final.
