The Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2019/20 is the 62nd season of the national first-class cricket competition in Pakistan . Central Punjab prevailed in the final against Northern with one innings and 16 runs, winning the competition.

format

6 teams take part in the competition, each playing against each other twice in a group. A team receives 16 points for a win and 9 points for a tie (both teams achieve the same number of runs). If no result is achieved and the game ends in a draw, both teams get 5 points. There is also the possibility to collect bonus points in the first 110 overs of the first inning . Up to 5 points are awarded for runs and up to 3 points for wickets. Furthermore, it is possible that teams are deducted points if, for example, they play too slowly or the pitch is not properly prepared. The first two of the group then carried out the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in the final.
