North Rhine-Westphalia quality award

The North Rhine-Westphalia Quality Award was an initiative of the Ministry of Economics and Labor of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and the Quality Assurance Initiative North Rhine-Westphalia e. V. , which existed from 1996 to 2004.

Since 1994, the North Rhine-Westphalia Quality Prize has been awarded to small and medium-sized enterprises from industry, trade, service and handicrafts up to 500 employees with headquarters in North Rhine-Westphalia who have a corporate strategy based on "quality". In addition, the character of innovation, employee orientation and economic success should be the result of the corporate strategy. Since 1998, special emphasis has been placed on the customer orientation of the company to be awarded. The award-winning corporate strategy should serve as a model for other companies through its publication.

Award

The company prize was awarded annually from 1994 to 2002 and every two years from 2002. The North Rhine-Westphalia Quality Award was personally presented to the award-winning company at a festive event by a representative of the Ministry of Economics, Energy, Building, Housing and Transport of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
