Svetlana Ivanovna Krachevskaya
Svetlana Krachevskaya ( Russian Светлана Ивановна Крачевская ., English transcription Svetlana Krachevskaya, born Эсфирь Долженко - Esfir Dolschenko - Esfir Dolzhenko * 23. November 1944 in Schyroke , Rajon Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi , Ukrainian SSR ) is a former Soviet shot putter .
Starting under her maiden name, she finished fourth at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich and Soviet champion the following year. Under the name Krachevskaya, five more national titles in the open air (1975-1978, 1980) and three in the hall (1976-1988) followed.
In 1976, a silver medal at the European Athletics Indoor Championships was followed by a ninth place at the Olympic Games in Montreal . At the end of her career, she won the silver medal at the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow.
