District planning procedure

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The district plan procedure is a procedure for developing building land in accordance with the Zurich Building and Planning Act, a law in the canton of Zurich , Switzerland . The district plan process includes the development of roads and utility lines, the definition of new property boundaries , the establishment of easements and the percentage land deduction for infrastructure facilities that serve the entire district.
The landowners concerned are involved in the procedure. First, their intentions are discussed in landowners' meetings and then the municipal council (executive) decides on the neighborhood plan (so-called determination resolution). After approval by the government council of the Canton of Zurich (executive), the neighborhood plan will be structurally and legally implemented (so-called execution). The administrative and construction costs are borne by the landowners.
