Quartilho
Quartilho was a measure of volume in Portugal and Brazil . The measure was used for wine and oil . It is not to be confused with the Spanish quartillo .
- 1 quartilho = 17 3/5 Parisian cubic inches = 7/20 liters or 0.35 liters
- 4 quartiles = 1 cahado
- 24 quartiles = 1 alqueira / pota
- 48 quartiles = 1 almuda
- 1248 quartiles = 1 pipa
- 2496 quartiles = 1 tonnelada / tonel
