Quatermass
Professor Bernard Quatermass was the title character in a British science fiction franchise run by Nigel Kneale . A number of television series, films and (radio) radio plays are part of it, other uses of the name (such as the self-designation of a band) were derived from this franchise or its main character.
The Quatermass franchise
Professor Bernard Quatermass is a fictional scientist and pioneer of the British space program. He heads a team of space rocket engineers and sets high scientific and moral standards in the British Experimental Rocket Group .
