Quicken

Quicken is a Windows - Software for net income method and home banking . It is marketed in Germany by Lexware and has also been developed since 2000. In 2015, the German program was renamed FinanzManager .

history

The first version of Quicken was developed in 1984 by the US software manufacturer Intuit . In 1993 the German subsidiary, Intuit Deutschland GmbH, was founded by Dieter Neujahr; six months later, the first German-language version of Quicken appeared. From version 2000, the German version was further developed by the Haufe Lexware group.

In the meantime (as of September 2015) the software is no longer called Quicken, but FinanzManager .

Range of functions

According to the manufacturer, the following functions are integrated into the program:

  • Financial overview (current accounts, asset accounts, credit cards, securities accounts, billing accounts, etc.)
  • Transfer, appointment transfer, BZÜ transfer, donation transfer, SEPA transfer, direct debit and much more.
  • Evaluation functions, financial planner, liquidity forecast, ...
  • Account access via HBCI and the bank's web interface.
  • Import and export of files in QIF format
