Quinebaug Lake State Park is a state park in the US state of Connecticut in the area of the municipality of Killingly . It surrounds the 88 acre (36 ha) Quinebaug Lake , which was dammed in the south by a dam. There are boating and fishing opportunities in the park.
geography
The lake has a tributary from the east, the Quandock Brook , which leaves the lake again at the southern end and drains further west to the Quinebaug River . The closest state park is Old Furnace State Park to the east, which is separated by Interstate 395 .
