Quintus Ostorius Scapula
Quintus Ostorius Scapula was a Roman Praetorian prefect at the turn of the ages.
Scapula was a knight and son of an Ostorius. Scapula was founded in 2 BC. Together with Publius Salvius Aper first Praetorian prefect.
Cassius Dio also reports that his brother Publius held the influential office of praefectus Aegypti (governor of Egypt ) from 3 to 10/11 AD . His son or nephew was Publius Ostorius Scapula , who was to become governor of Britain .
